National Merit Scholarship Corporation Recognizes Four St. Anthony Village High School Students
Four seniors at St. Anthony Village High School were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Competition (NMSC), an academic competition for high school students. To participate in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program, high school students must have taken the 2011 Preliminary SAT (PSAT) and scored in the top five percent of the more than 1.5 million students who took the exam.
Andris Delins and Micah Tanning received Letters of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding test score on the PSAT. Commended students score in the top five percent on the PSAT.
Adam Busacker and Meredith Severtson were recognized as Semifinalists in the NMSC, an honor achieved by less than 1% of all high school seniors in the nation. Semifinalists can continue with the scholarship application process to become a NMSC Finalist and be considered for a National Merit Scholarship. NMSC Finalists will be notified in February 2013.
