The purpose of this page is to explain Open Enrollment, inform parents of School District policy, and describe the process used by St. Anthony-New Brighton School District related to Open Enrollment.

Definition: Open Enrollment is the process used by students to apply for enrollment in a school district in which they do not reside. It is designed to give all families the opportunity to select the best educational experience for their children. This enrollment option encourages parents/guardians to become knowledgeable about the needs and interests of their children and more informed about what educational programs schools are offering.

Resident students are defined as those living within the attendance boundaries of the St. Anthony-New Brighton School District. To view those boundaries, click on the link below.

See the link below. PLEASE RESIST THE TEMPTATION TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION MORE THAN ONCE. Submission of your open enrollment form will take place when you’ve completed the form and pressed “SAVE.” Once it is saved, it goes directly into our open enrollment database. You will receive a follow-up email within 24-72 hours of your submission confirming receipt of your application.

Your student who is applying for open enrollment is welcome to accompany a parent on the tour. However, because of the numbers of parents/students on our open enrollment tours and the fact that you will be visiting classrooms in session, we request that younger siblings not attend. Wilshire Park will offer tours in late January/early February for families who are accepted through open enrollment but haven’t yet had an opportunity to tour the school.
