Sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, the AYLP in Bangladesh focused on climate change with the goal of fostering mutual understanding, respect, and civic engagement among young Americans and their peers in Bangladesh.  Jansen travelled to Bangladesh in December and spent four weeks visiting communities and organizations affected by climate change.
